Green Screening can be one of the funnest thing that most movie products/ movie editors can play with. It can also be one of your worse nightmares if you don’t film, light, or edit your project right. So today I am going to show you the fastest, cheapest, most reliable, and most professional way to green screen for just a few bucks! The 3 main things that are the most important when working with green screen is something green, great equal lighting, and a program which will chroma key.Something Green: This is one of the of the main concerns that people have when considering a green screen. Its a basic as this..Bright Green Paint, Green Cloth/Screen, Green Poster Board, or whatever you can find that is green. (Note: if using cloth or poster board, make sure there are NO wrinkles or visible tacks and tape when posting). It helps to iron your green screen.

Lighting: This is the most important part of Green Screening. Not only is it keep to have very bright lighting but also as important to  make the lighting even throughout the shot. Click here for a diagram for the best lighting layout, and as long as you follow this, then you will be successful.

Chroma Key Software: This is the final step in your project stages of editing. Chroma Keying is when you take the green of your project and replace it with another form of media. There are several applications/software that can do chroma keying such as iMovie 09′, Final Cut, and After Effects. Im my video I show you the easies way to chroma key in iMovie 09′.

With this step-by-step, located below, green screen tutorial I will have your videos looking more professional then ever. Hope you enjoy.
