Creating a Brush Metal effect is very simple and can be done in seconds. For best results follow this written tutorial or watch the recorded tutorial below.

The first thing that you are going to need to do is create a project. It doesn’t matter what size, the effect will look all the same. Once you have your pallet open, fill the background with a dark gray color. #585858 works quite well. Make sure that all of this editing is done on the same, one layer. Next, you want to add some “noise” or static to your project by going to Filter>Noise>Add Noise.
