Bambooda was established in Key west Florida by bamboo artist Madek Porembski.
I started out by making Didgeridoos from bamboo, then expanded into home furnishings and artwork. At present date I have designed over 130 bamboo products.
Bamboo is a very strong, and versitile material. It is one of the fastest growing plants on the planet, which makes it an excellent renuable resource.
I have always had a vision of combining bamboo and high tech electronics. Now, 13 years later that vision is comming true.
Bambooda iPhone cases are made from 100% bamboo. The cases are machine carved by a factory, and then original artwork is applied by hand at my island workshop.
Recently I have added laser carving to the process. Now you create the art, and I can transfer it to the back of your iPhone case. Carvings by hand are still available for those purists out there.
I love making things from bamboo, and these cases are one of my favorite products yet!!
